U.S. Taiwan Startup Day

A event connecting early-stage founders from Taiwan with Silicon Valley investors, mentors, and the startup ecosystem through keynotes, fireside chats, panels, and hands-on workshops.

    U.S. Taiwan Startup Day 台美新創日

Where Silicon Valley meets Taiwan's startup ecosystem.

U.S. Taiwan Startup Day (UTSD) is NATEA Silicon Valley's annual summer conference dedicated to startup innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-border venture building between the United States and Taiwan. Held each June in the heart of Silicon Valley, UTSD brings together founders, product builders, investors, and technologists for an afternoon of keynotes, panels, fireside chats, and structured networking.

    Origins

UTSD traces its roots to the 1st Annual U.S. Taiwan Startup Forum (UTSF), launched in September 2020 and co-organized by NATEA-SV and Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA) Silicon Valley. Initially an online event bridging U.S. investors with Taiwanese startups, the forum ran as a two-day virtual program in its early years before evolving into the single-day, in-person U.S. Taiwan Startup Day format that exists today.

    Mission

UTSD serves as a launchpad for startup exchange and innovation between Taiwan and the U.S. The event is designed to:

    • Connect early-stage founders with experienced operators, investors, and mentors across both ecosystems

    • Showcase AI and emerging technology startups building real products for real markets

    • Provide practical, actionable insights on product development, fundraising, and scaling

    • Bridge Taiwan's world-class hardware and engineering talent with Silicon Valley's venture and product culture

    Past Events

    • 2025 | The Startup Series: Startup Reality 201
      2025 | Applied Intelligence

    • 2024 | Next Gen AI

    What to Expect
